I lost my dropbox sync and need to fix it. How?
Using Apple devices. My primary is my iMac desktop.
5 days ago I saved and 'exported backup' to my desktop.
I was experimenting with stock basis and didn't want to make a mess of my database.
I didn't like the results with my experimenting so just restarted MD using the saved desktop file and today I discover that I am not syncing and my sync is set to 'don't sync'.
So seems like I need to set it up from scratch.
I'm thinking remove transactions from dropbox (I'm using connection method) and turn off syncing in secondary devices?
Is that the best way?

YUP - If you File/Restore backup, you wipe out Sync.. The correct procedure for your test would have been:
File/Export backup...
File/Restore from backup... Do your tests.
File/Open the original... Sync would still be set.
Anyway, yes you can delete all the Sync folders in Dropbox and then launch MD and setup Sync again..

@Stuart:
Thanks! It's hard to keep track of all these details when it is used so seldom. And for some reason this is getting harder as the years tick on past :-)
