How do I sync and back up the file

Hello

You say that we need to sync with Dropbox but it is asking me for an encryption password which I do not have. Can you please provide this? Also, I enter my dropbox password and it tells me it is wrong but I am certain I enter the correct password as I can open dropbox on my PC. Can you please advise on what to do.

   Hi Kyriakos

   Some basics.
   1. Can you list the devices you want to sync and there operating systems.
   2. What version and build of Moneydance are you running on your computers, e.g. 2022.4(4078).
   3. Have you installed Dropbox client on all your computers.
   When syncing between computers you have one master computer the first computer to be synced using FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – SYNCING and any number of secondary computers that are synced to the master using FILE – NEW – OPEN SYNCED FILE.
   When you set up syncing on the Master computer FILE (MONEYDANCE on Mac) – SYNCING you are asked to enter an Encryption Password, one you make up yourself. When you sync secondary computers or mobile devices you enter the same Encryption Password when asked.

   Provide the information requested above and I will try to help you further.
