Sync to IOS not working - IOS app dies

Hello,

I recently switched to MD 2022 FROM 2021. Since doing this the IOS app will not come up. It appears to open and then disappears. If I uninstall it and reinstall it comes ups with the sync options then says 'performing first sync' and 'poof' gone again.

The MAC version seems to be working fine...

I have completely uninstalled MD and Dropbox on both MAC and IOS systems and reinstalled, reconfigured etc. The problem still exists.

Note: I am syncing with Dropbox - I changed to 2022 for iCloud sync (as MD is the only thing I use dropbox for). Eagerly awaiting it!

Please could you help me solve this. I use the IOS version a lot...

   icloud sync currently only works between mac computers, but appears you know that.

   as for dropbox, i am using 2022.4(4078) and it works fine. that said, with your upgrade, the dropbox sync may be munged.
   i'd suggest the very helpful stuart and his toolbox, but he may be in bed at the moment. (UK)...

   I only have one suggestion.. Refresh or rebuild your sync data and try again.

   Either nuke sync and start again or refresh.

   1. Refresh. Assuming you have 1 computer (primary) and just the iOS app (and no others?).... Install/run toolbox extension. enable advanced mode. advanced mode. force refresh / push sync. wait.. restart Md... wait.... reinstall iOS app and try again.

   2. nuke: toolbox. advanced mode. force reset sync settings. Quit MD on all devices. Now look in dropbox folder. Delete (or rename) the hidden .moneydancesync folder. Restart MD.... Enable Sync....Wait.... restart MD.... Now reinstall iOS app and try again....
