Problem to sync with dropbox
Hi,
I've experienced problem with my MacBook's Moneydance to sync with dropbox. In the console window, it keeps showing some errors. And a workaround that I found at the moment is to quit the Moneydance app, and re-launch the app again, at this point, it's able to sync once, but then, with the app on MacBook launched, it won't trigger the real time sync when there's a new transaction I input on my iPhone. Which it does perfectly fine in the past.

What version of MD?
DB Folders or DB Connection?
For how many years has DB Sync been setup?

Personally I find DB Folders is much better... Up to you if you switch... It makes the app and syncing more responsive.
Anyway, I would refresh your sync data. Toolbox, Advanced Mode, Force Refresh/Push sync data.... wait.... restart MD..... wait..... reboot iOS.....

Hi Albert,
Firstly navigate to File->Syncing and turn off sync by choosing Don't Sync
Close Moneydance
Launch Moneydance again and take a manual back up of the file you consider to be the most up-to date
On the computer where this file is stored:
Navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions and install the Toolbox
From from Toolbox Options (on top left corner) choose Advanced Mode.
Click Advanced mode - the red tab onto the right.
Choose the option: Force a reset/Push of your dataset to Sync. Wait a few mins. This will reset and update sync with a new consolidated dataset.
Finally, navigate to File->Syncing and choose a sync method.
Preferably, Dropbox Folder (it's faster!)
Set or take note of your existing "Passphrase".
ensure the Dropbox client is installed and running on your computer
Launch the mobile app on your iPhone, select Disconnectand restart your phone.
You should pick the file you want to view, and enter the password to match the Passphrase on your computer.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions or need any assistance.
