How to sync Moneydance on 2 computers
I just purchased a new computer (my old one my be on the way out soon) I like my old computer but fear it will go out without me having everything going on a newer one. Also, I sometimes take my computer to travel and would like to sync the data (old to the new computer) How can I do that without getting kicked out of my old computer? Will everything be overwritten if I add MoneyDance to the new computer?

I'm a fellow user.
Instructions for setting up syncing between two computers can be found in the Knowledge Base article:
https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data/syncing-with-other-computers
If you believe your existing computer is likely to fail you would be wise to create a backup on an external device like an External hard disk, memory key etc, or on some from of cloud service. Syncing is not a replacement for good backups.

Thank you. Do I have to purchase another program? I am mainly doing this
so my computer (getting old) doesn't die and then I am in trouble. I am
the only one using the program. So please tell me if I have to buy another
program or can I download the same program from you and use it on my
private network.
Again, many thanks! :)

Moneydance's licensing policy can be found at:
https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/purchasing-and-upgrading/licensing-policy
Fundamentally for domestic use for licenses purchased directly from the company you can use Moneydance on as many computer and operating systems as you have in the household with the purchase of one license.
Moneydance purchased from third parties have their own licensing conditions.

Wow, you are fast! I purchased mid year 2020 directly from infinitekind.
I guess I will just go in and download it again on my new computer using my
license code?

Just a user - if you upgrade You will need a new license code.
MD offers a half price discount on the "next" version -but 2020 to 2022 did have 2021 inbetween.
You can go to moneydance.com/purchase to see what your price is (full or half) use the upgrading area.
The good news is whatever the price is - you renew the concept of getting the "next" version at half price.
Hope that helps.

Oh, and you can download the same version and use it on your new computer, but if you move from one operating system to another (especially MAC), then the older version may not work.
And as DWG said make an external backup and copy it to a safe place (usb drive) to make certain you don't lose your data.

Moneydance 2020 is available from:
https://infinitekind.com/download_2020
As DTD said if you are using a Mac then this version may not work on newer version of macOS, we would need to know the version to make a judgement. I expect it to work on Windows and Linux.
