the sync is not happening

I have entries in my iPhone version of MoneyDance.... recording as the expenses happen... but they are not syning with MoneyDance on my computer... it appears they are both connected to DropBox.
What can I be doing wrong?

   It will affect all Mac users using macOS 12.3 and later at some point, but the timing rollout of the change by Dropbox is very unclear.

   The simple way to check if its change has happened to you is to look in the "Locations" section of the Finder sidebar. If you have a Dropbox item there the change has happened and the sync setting will need changing on the computer.
