Moneydance+ Error messages
Hello,
I am receiving errors upon download. See attached files error1 and error2. I think these are related to failed connections to my bank which are now called "no name" in my MD+ setup (see file MDplus setup). When I try to delete these no name connections, I receive another error shown by the file "Error on delete no name". Still these no name connections remain.
Also, despite that my BofA indicates expired, I do still seem to get my transactions downloaded.
How to clean up my connections and eliminate the errors?

just a user - you may want to use toolbox to force disconnect these two accounts and see what results from that.

Note that you need the LATEST toolbox - mentioned in Post 12, but also works if you uninstall your current toolbox (if you have it) and reinstall the new one.

Thanks for your help. I’ve tried your instructions but seem to have run into two obstacles:
Cannot find the request ID (same as item ID?) in the file nor can I find “no name”
The “Force Disconnect a MD+ connection (use with care)” is a greyed out (not selectable) option even in advanced mode.
Thanks again for the try. If I’ve overlooked something, don’t hesitate to advise.

Have you clicked toolbox, top left, toolbox options, enable advanced mode?
If so, what build of MD are you running? You need to be on latest 4091..?

Actually it should be item_id, not request_id, but I do note that your screenshot does not have an item_id. I'd have to defer to Stuart what that means to not have an item_id in that error message.

Hello,
Yes, I’ve enabled advanced mode via top left menu.
I have App Store version and seems like it is only available as 2022.3 4084. I’m not sure if I need to wait a bit longer for it to post on the App Store. Looks like the version you state is available as a trial download…. But I’m not sure If I can even find the areas to address in the "Online Banking Configuration" file.

Sorry, the force md+ connection feature in toolbox is only available on MD builds > 4090..
It's better to be on the download version rather than App Store version.. But you will have to talk to IK about a license 'swap'....

I installed a trial version from the IK site (2022.5 4091) and performed your procedure.

I get a similar error screen, except I only get the first line of text. "There was an error communicating with your financial institution. The details are below:" But there isn't anything after this message. The rest of the screen is Blank. All my accounts are connected and downloading fine. But the error message is annoying because it pops up very frequently. I am using MD+. Moneydance 2022 (4040) on a mac environment,

just a user - first, you should be able to upgrade to 2022.5(4091) if you bought directly from Moneydance. Many MD+ issues were fixed between 4040 and 4091.
If the error persists, it may contain more info.
Also, the toolbox can fix quite a few MD+ issues, but often needs 4091 to do so correctly.
