How to read/open mdtxn files
Hi all,
I hope I posted this in the right spot.
I know that the mdtxn files used to synchronise the various devices are encrypted (as far as I understood with symmetric AES256), but obviously we have the password of our own data.
Is there a way to decrypt them and, if yes, once decrypted, to read them (xml? JSON? Etc.)?
I’m asking because I’m building my own reporting in Power BI, but every time I need to export the data manually in JSON and to do that I have to be in front of my laptop.
Leveraging instead the standard sync functionality I can update my reporting (almost) real time as soon as I enter a new transaction on my mobile app.
Any hint is appreciated
Thanks
Marco
