How can I stop two files from automatically syncing?

I have two identical files that I do NOT want to sync automatically. What is a "UUID" and what are the "sync settings" and what are the "sync folder/accounts"

Hoping you can help me.

   Load toolbox extension
   Launch toolbox
   update mode
   advanced menu
   Force reset sync settings.

   This will turn off sync and give your dataset a new internal UUID. If you ever enable sync again, these datasets will use different sync folders...

   Hi Marcus,
   Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

   Usually to undo sync, you should simply open the file/s in question, navigate to File->Syncing and set it to 'Don't sync'. Then restart Moneydance!

   .... and if you really want the two files to be separate and never "connect" because they hold different data, then you should also do the toolbox reset too... (to get a new UUID).
