trying to change sync methods, cannot change
version 2023.1 (5006) on MacBook Pro Ventura 13.6
Moneydance currently syncs to dropbox. I want to change to iCloud.
I change sync method to iCloud Drive. Encryption Passphrase gives one option "Show Passphrase". The message reads "Below is the password used to encrypt your data when syncing over dropbox. My passphrase is there, I am unable to change it, delete it or do anything else. I have restarted the app several times. I have changed it to Don't Sync and nothing changes.
Please help.
- Steve

You have to nuke your sync settings and start again to set the password. Toolbox extension can do this. Update mode. Advanced menu. Force reset sync settings.

Dang - that worked beautifully. thank you.
Any idea where in iCloud the sync files are stored? I don't see them anywhere.

Thanks again. One more time - I get this warning about dropbox aliases. I have moved all sync to iCloud and don't use dropbox. Is there something else I should do? (see attached screenshot)

Follow the instructions in the toolbox popup to address the issue. Enable update mode. Then advanced menu. Then you will see a button to fix the Dropbox alias.
