Syncing Moneydance with another desktop

Is there a way to sinc Money dance on my desktop with my wife's desktop?

   Can the shared file for sincing between desktop computers be on a USB drive?

   I'm a fellow user.

   Yes data can be synced between systems using Moneydance's inbuilt syncing engine.

   Using a USB connected drive for the shared folders would not be recommended, the system is build around using some sort of network device.
