I am trying to sync moneydance wth my ipad but it keeps saying that when I enter the passphrase on my laptop it keeps stating that the password does not match and I know I have typed this in right, it is getting very frustrating now, I cannot even sync it with with cloud

   If you look on the master desktop system and choose the Moneydance menu option File --> Syncing there is an option Show Passphrase so you can double check it.

   Using your browser you could login to dropbox and see how many data sets are in the .moneydancesync folder. If using the Dropbox Folder method you could also look in the Dropbox folder on the master desktop.

   I'm wondering if you are trying to sync to an obsolete account set, if there are multiple account sets in Dropbox it would be something to investigate further.

   My issues is I click on the "Encryption Passphrase" button: which says "Shows Passphrase", when I click on this button below is the password used to encrypt etc so I enter this password "Show Passphase" into my IPAD and it states "Sorry the password doesn't match", there is an "r" in the start of the passphrase see above but it does not work just states it does not match

   You need to click. File/syncing and look at that password (not the dataset encryption password)
