syncing 2 desktops using a Dropbox folder when Dropbox is installed on D Drive

Hi,

One of my computers has a very small C Drive, but a large D drive where I have my Dropbox folders and all data. Since this is not the the default location to instal Dropbox, does this mean this method of syncing (Dropbox Folders) is not savailable to me, and I must Sync using Web based Dropbox?

   Just use SharedFolders sync method and point MD to this folder. Shared folders and Dropbox folders are exactly the same underlying thing.

   I will try this, but want to ask a follow up question first. The size file of my back up was always around 62 MB, but in the last few days it shot up tp 97mb, even though there are hardly any
   new transactions.It seems to coincide with when I was trying to sync the 2 MD on the 2 machines. I wonder if I have done anything to screw up my files, and whether thereis anyway to find out, or whether it even matters.

   When you setup sync it pushes your core dataset into the sync folder as a .txn file... This ends up back in your logged .mdtxn files.. Hence, my guess is that your trunk file is 30MB.. Nothing is screwed.. Toolbox, Advanced, Shrink Dataset (1 day) will address this....
