iCloud Sync on iPhone Searching for file

I am trying to switch over syncing from DropBox to iCloud sync. All working on my MacBooks, but when switching to my iPhone, it is just spinning and spinning searching for a file for me to choose for Syncing. Can this be because my iCloud drive is pretty large and it will eventually find a file if I let it run long enough? Been about 5 minutes so far. Thanks.
