REMINDERS
Hi,
I have an android phone and have worked out how to record transactions on my phone that will be synced on my PC etc.
I would like to have the reminders also available on my phone as when I'm travelling without my PC I still need to pay bills etc
Is it possible somehow to sync both the transactions and the reminders?
Thanks

Thanks Stuart, in your experience, is there a way to deal with the reminders another way?

Depends what you are tying to achieve?
For example, all mine are set up to auto record a month in advance within the current month. Hence the whole months’s are committed to the register and thus available to iOS whilst travelling.

I do the same for all fixed value reminders.
The variant values are a pain in the butt.
(I do credit cards on the 15th of every month as I've asked to have them always close then - I just have done all my multiple 20+ credit cards for April)
SOOOO - on my ipad, it's now all there except for one or two entries.

The current Mobile App does not support reminders.
There are plans to offer a more complete mobile application, just how complete is not known, nor if or how much it will be different between devices like phones and tablets.
The emergence of tablets running Android and IOS is I believe the impetus for this. Windows tablets are not an issue.
In order to make a more complete application and one that is more compatible between the various platforms that Moneydance supports has required and will require more development.
The first stage was to have complete data syncing, I believe this has been completed.
The second step was a large rewrite of the core software in a different language, one that could be supported on Mobile devices, the current mobile apps are in a different language to the core software.
A significant portion of this was done in Moneydance 2023, this is a core reason why there was an extensive Alpha testing program with the 2023 release as the testers went through the software looking for any introduced issues or regressions, most were found and in my view the program was very successful.
There is still a ways to go and I do not know when we will be seeing a more complete mobile app, but at least work has started and has been going on for some time.
