Hi there

Could you please add the ability to change the order in which transactions display on the Android app.

Currently, I'm not sure what the display order is but it's very different to what I see on the desktop app, I'm using the "date" ordering method on the desktop app currently.

    Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

The problem with using the same sort settings on mobile and desktop is that mobile devices require the most recent items to be at the top. This is because they have affordances such as tapping the status bar to scroll all the way to the top. Those affordances don't have a scroll-to-bottom equivalent whereas on the desktop it's just as easy to scroll all the way to the bottom as to the top.

On the other hand, we've created a suggestion ticket about allowing the ability to choose the sorting field and direction (but not necessarily match the desktop). Currently the mobile app sorts by date and then by amount.

I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

    Thanks for the reply Maddy

Ok got it, I can live with it as it is, it's just that I use the envelope method on my cheque account so it's a bit confusing seeing all the negative amounts from the first then the all the positive numbers after that, it led to a few mistakes in the past but I'm used to it now I think.
