Different values for total in app compared with PC
I have a credit card which has a balance of £0 but suddenly on the app it came up with -£31.99 which isn't right and doesn't match the PC which is correct. I've not used card since Feb so was worried I'd put in an amount accidently but I haven't. Also I notice sometimes that if I make changes in the app they don't always appear on the PC then appear days later. I'm not sure if app is syncing properly. I've unlinked and relinked but nothing has changed.

Hi Susan
It may help support or other to help you if you provide the following information,
The version and build of Moneydance you are running, e.g. 2024.1(5118)
Your computer operating system.
The sync method selected on your computer. Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection, ect.
The phone type.
Post the Moneydance error.log file from your computer.
Have you tried Toolbox extension. Update mode. Advanced. Force reset sync settings.

Version 2024.1 (5118). Only started happening recently and I've recently uploaded to this version

Firstly, one the desktop, which balance are you looking at? Current, balance or cleared?
Also at the bottom of the register, click the bottom right balance link and look at all the balances.
Try toolbox. Update mode. Advanced. Force refresh/push sync option. NOTE the refresh, not reset.

Firstly, one the desktop, which balance are you looking at? Current, balance or cleared? Cleared (on PC) On app balances with tick box for Include future transactions un checked. Either way I don't use my credit card and the balance is £0 on PC but -£31.99 on app. Balance should be £0

Hi Sue
At the bottom of the register, click the bottom right balance link and look at all the balances. See screen shot for an example.
Toolbox is a Extension and can be found under Extensions – Manage Extensions. Install it and follow Stuart’s instructions.

Did toolbox also warn you saying you were running a secondary dataset? If so, is this a secondary and where is the primary? If it should be the primary, then click the promote to primary button on the first page and then try again.
