Passcode problem

I installed the Moneydance mobile app on my iPhone 4 and it works very well. For safety
purposes I assigned a passcode.

However, it seems the passcode can be removed without authorization. If this is the case, anyone
using my iPhone can open the app, go to the set-up screen, turn off the passcode and have access
to my accounts. Has anyone else commented on this?

   Is it not the case that you need to enter the passcode for the Moneydance app in order to go into the setup screen to remove the passcode?
