As per subject, I think it's a very bad idea for account details and balances to be visible before signing in. Although somewhat blurred, account balances are visible. Either blur more or totally obscure details until sign-in is authenticated. Using latest version on Android and fingerprint authentication.

    Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

Unfortunately, we’re aware of this issue, but please be assured that a fix should be included in the updated Beta Android mobile app as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

Thank you for the quick reply Maddy.

There's a more serious problem I just discovered. The fingerprint authentication can be completely bypassed by merely pressing the back button (instead of scanning a fingerprint) on an Android phone. Doing so grants full access to the portfolio without authentication.

Please acknowledge this is a bug (and a serious one at that) and not intentional.

Please be reassured that the development team is currently working to find a solution.
Also, I've flagged this thread and you will be notified as soon as the fix is available.
