Roadmap : mobile syncing with shared folder ?

Dear developers,
Is it planned in the near future to allow users to sync the mobile app from a shared folder stored on the phone ?

Indeed, it would be useful for many users like myself who, in addition to being keen on self-hosting, use several platforms (Windows, iOS, MacOS). The Dropbox option works well, but it is painful having to spend 10$ a month just for Moneydance sync (since their subscriptions jump from 2Gb to 2To...)...

Hoping something similar is on the docket.

   Hi Robert

   I am very surprised that the contents of the .moneydncesync Dropbox folder exceeds the free allowance. Perhaps you need to use the Toolbox extension to reduce your Dataset size and the size of the alphanumeric folder in the .moneydncesync Dropbox folder.

   Hello Derek,

   Thank you for your suggestion. However I have many attachments, which make up for almost 2Gb, and counting. Additionnally, there's the privacy concern over self-hosting.
