treat.

Straight off the bat though a few suggestions!

1) It's difficult to know when it will next sync. Maybe a
'manual sync' button would be useful to force it to sunc. Otherwise
I'm not sure when it will next sync.
2) Highlighting of transactions that have not yet occurred, just as
the desktop version has. This would be very useful as the display
presently shows the most future date first and as I scroll down to
find, say, today's transactions it can be difficult to see what has
occurred and what hasn't yet, (I treat moneydance like a bank
statement but with the ability to see the future!)
3) Syncing of budgets. This is essential for me as I actually like
to stick to my budgets. Therefore, if I'm in a shop and I'm not
sure if I can afford something, the ability to check my budget
would be great.
4) Search. Being able to search transactions is pretty basic and
necessary.

Don't get me wrong, I love this app and have been waiting some
time for it, but to be a true portable version of the desktop
program it needs some improvements in my opinion.

Thanks again team

AARONtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/15230312010-04-24T15:30:24Z2017-12-17T17:04:28ZiPhone suggestions

I'm glad to see the iPhone app make its debut. I haven't had much time to really use it yet, but a few initial suggestions:

Running balance in the register.

Transaction types in the register.

Thanks. It looks like it's off to a good start.

dwilson031tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/15230312010-04-30T04:18:14Z2010-04-30T04:18:14ZiPhone suggestions

Aaron and Dan,

I can vote on tickets but seem unable to create a new ticket
still?

Aaron Downtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/15230312010-05-06T11:45:50Z2010-05-06T11:46:23ZiPhone suggestions

In the meantime, another suggestion that I'm not sure how I
missed.

Running Balance! - Not sure how this is not here, as the total
worth summary on the accounts list is of no use, I need to know my
balance now, or at least the balance when I last synced. I
appreciate that there's limited room but maybe utilising the
landscape format of the iphone would be great. i.e. You get the
current view in portrait, but when your turn the iphone into
landscape the interface changes to show more details about the
transaction and the running total. I realise that this is probably
a lot harder to program than it is to suggest it but I think it
would truly make it a mobile version of the desktop app.

Thanks again

Aaron Downtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/15230312010-05-06T15:13:39Z2010-05-06T15:14:11ZiPhone suggestions

I heartily concur with the running balance request AND the
highlighting of future (vs current and past) transactions. I really
need the ability to see the balance when I am mobile, more than how
much a bill was .... Congratulations on bringing out the iPhone
app, however, I was absolutely delighted to see it.

Dale Grahamtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/15230312010-07-02T04:35:53Z2010-07-02T04:35:53ZiPhone suggestions

I just wanted to let you all know we'll be including the running
balance in the app update which we are submitting to Apple tonight,
and we hope this app will available in the app store within the
week.
