Connection to IPAD2 disappeared
Not sure when it happened, but ipad2 did not sync with MD2011r2 (803) (running on Ubuntu 11.10).
The IPDAD2 reported that the last sync was 1 month ago (last time I ran it). I went on the LINUX system (192.168.1.104) to make sure it was running MD and then to network sync for the configuration. I tried to add another device but nothing was found. I deleted the device and tried to add it and same problem. I pinged for the IPDA2 on the system and got an answer to 192.168.1.103, which is what was the configuration (system settings) on the IPAD2.
I uninstalled and re-installed the app. Same issue. I went so far as to "renew lease" on Ipad2, but no further.

Steve,
When I re-created my connection to my iPad, I found that renaming the device, and making sure there were no special characters in the name, make it possible to re-create the connection. Could you please give that a try and see if it works?
Let me know how it goes and we'll move forward from there,

I did that as it is now IOS5-Ipad2-sprimost. Still unclear why it would
suddenly stop.
It did not work. (Had the IPad2 at the configure screen with the
encryption info, and my linux system doing the search.
What ports are we using for this, as I can go into my personal firewall
and check that these are not blocked?

Some bad news: Apple did not approve our latest update to the iPhone/iPad/iPod Moneydance app. This was due to the Dropbox authorization page linking to an external signup form.
The good news: we've re-submitted the app using a newer version of the Dropbox SDK that resolves the issue while also making the Dropbox authorization a bit easier. This submission also fixes a few small bugs that were discovered in the past week.
We're all very sorry for the additional delay in getting the app update. I expect it will be another 5 working days which is Apple's current advertised time to review app updates.
