Switching MD DB's on iPhone & iPad

Hello:
I have 2 MD databases on DropBox, one for Business & one for Personal data.
My iPhone and iPad MD app is sync'd to the desktop Business DB.

I want to delete my iPhone MD app completely, and switch the iPad DB from Business to the personal Database.

How can this be done safely, as I don't want to loose any desktop data when I do the switch.

    Hello,

    First, make sure the IPad app has been successfully synced with the desktop version. This will ensure all of your data is safely stored. Then you should be able to delete the app from your iPad.

    Next, when you have your business data file open on the desktop version, open the Network Syncing extension, and delete the iDevices from the list of devices to sync with.

    Then, set up the iPad app just like you did the first time, as explained in detail at this link. The main thing you want to make sure of is that you have your personal data file open when you are configuring the desktop end of the syncing process. As long as you do this in your personal data file and not in the business one, only the personal file should be synced.

    Hi Ethan.

    I got antsy, so I guts'd it and my conversion went fine.

    All is well right now. I can only hope that in the future Apple opens their IOS protocol to allow for more than one MD DB on the dame mobile device.

    It would be beneficial to have both my business and personal account information nexus a bowl while I am on the road.
