Lack of data after sync

Unlike some my sync works fine. Well it sync's but not all the data shows up on the iphone. I get only this year's data on some accounts and then only partial data for the year on others. I also do not get any investment data. My question is how do I get all my data to show in the app. including previous years? I need to be able to access my total file that is on the desktop. (mac running Lion)- Thanks

   What you are asking for is not possible. The sync is currently limited to the last 365 days for performance reasons and investment accounts are not synced to the iPhone.

   The intended functionality of the iPhone app is to provide at a glance account balances and to provide mobile interface for entering transactions. It was not intended to be a desktop replacement. I am sure we will add more functionality to the mobile app in future releases and for now I am sorry that the app does not meet your needs.

   Understand and that is ok now that I know. that said on my bank accounts it only sync's back from today to March 25 2012, I have several accounts in this data file and all only go back to march 2012- ????? George

   George,

   Moneydance permits you to set how much history is sync'd to the app- 30, 60, 90, or 365. This value generally defaults to 60, as you've discovered. To change this number go the the menu bar, open the Extensions menu, and select "Configure Network Syncing". Change the "Days to Sync" to your desired value (which I assume is 365) and the remainder of the the data will be downloaded to your iPhone the next time you sync.
