It's not currently possible to search in the iPad app. I have created a ticket for this issue. The ticket is attached to this discussion. By posting in this discussion your interest in the ticket has been registered. This is equivalent to voting for it. We'll let you know about any progress on the issue.

I also second this and would like to see some basic search ability on the app for entries please.

My vote "FOR" also for iPad app...
1. To search Categories & Transactions ;
2. To generate Reports;
The iPad app should be able to "LOOK UP" any data entered in MD.
