How can I add a number of costs (e.g., $3.95 + $1.28), multiply values (e.g., $5.68 * 1.13), etc. so as to get the totals in the amount field? I believe one is supposed to be able to just do it the same way as in the desktop version but I can't get it to work and only get an empty field.

    Don,

I'm sorry to say it's not currently possible to enter math equations in the iPhone/iPad app. I have created a feature request ticket for this issue. The ticket is attached to this discussion. Thanks for creating the ticket. I feel this is a critically important addition as doing all of the preliminary calculations in one app then entering the results into the Moneydance app is quite inefficient and frankly a pain.
