New app date on input
Love the new app - just what we wanted. Now for reminders in the app and currency conversion when inputting into an account!
However, question is: why does the new app use the date (1 day earlier) when inputting a transaction. E.g if I input a transaction today 13th July , the app inputs it for the 12th. My iPhone is correct and it also does it on my iPad
Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,
I believe the app defaults to using the last entered date when creating a new transaction, in case the user is entering multiple transactions from a previous day. So if your last entered transaction was yesterday, that would be why it's using that date.
As well, the other functionality is being worked on for a future version.

As some feedback I have set this up via dropbox, to 2 Iphones and in general the system is working, continue to test it.
I like Chris can see areas for improvements/features, some that come to mind compared with HandyBank on android:-
1 The date is stuck at the last transaction, can be a problem with new enrties to forget, can this be changed, say roll over to present date at midnight
2 As a mobile app then mixed currancies can be an issue, on Handybank I eventually managed to realise and make work entering another currancy eg USD into a GBP account, so an exchange rate is synced with the PC main application.
3 Budgets, in Handeybank allow a simple totalisation feature that can be useful on a trip, showing say an expense to date.
HOWEVER, we all have waited for this app, whilst this release is basic in features what is key is RELIABILITY, without that as a mobile app away from the main computer it is worthless, so while I and others ask for more features, I hope the developers do not lose sight of reliability first

Hi John,
Thanks for the suggestions to improve Moneydance! We have tickets associated with your requests in our ticketing system, so I've attached them to this discussion to increase their priority.
And I absolutely agree with you that reliability and stability are very important and it is a main focus on the part of the developers to have a high level of reliability.
