Dropbox not working
I'm running MD12 on Apple 10.8.3. I just installed the iPhone app and followed the instructions to use it for Dropbox.
I added the extension, set it up for Dropbox, and got an encryption password.
I get the message "No MD data files were found that have been configured to sync using this Dropbox account".

Hi,
Can you send us the output of your console log? This can be found by going to Help -> Console window in Moneydance, then clicking the "Copy to clipboard" button and pasting the output to us here.
Also, can you send us a screenshot of the window that opens when you go to File -> Syncing in Moneydance? Here's how to take a screenshot on Mac OS X:

Sorry for chiming in, but I noticed that you are using MD 2012 on a Mac and attempting to sync the iPhone Moneydance App to Moneydance on the Mac.
I also notice3d that you stated that you "added the extension".
With MD 2012, no extensions are needed to sync MD with an iPhone using Dropbox. There is a built in sync mechanism under File -> Syncing...
You want the button under Dropbox Syncing to read "Disable".
You also want to remove the "Network Synchronizer" extension.

Tried James suggestion. Still doesn't work. And the iPhone app says to "make sure you have installed the Network Synchronizer extension and configured it to sync using Dropbox". It actually says that with or without the extension installed.

Hi,
The message about the Network Sync extension is a little outdated and only applies to Moneydance 2011 and below, not to Moneydance 2012.
I noticed from your console log output that you're using an older version of Moneydance 2012. Can you try upgrading to the latest one from here:
http://infinitekind.com/downloads
and see if that works for you? Please be sure to uninstall the Network Sync extension, which can conflict with Moneydance 2012's built-in syncing, and configuring syncing using File -> Syncing in Moneydance. If it doesn't work immediately, please try disabling and re-enabling Dropbox syncing and see if it works then.

How do you update Moneydance? I haven't seen an email, nor can I find anything in any of the menus.

Hi Todd,
To update Moneydance, first download the new version from:
http://infinitekind.com/downloads
then drag Moneydance from your Downloads folder to your Applications folder and double-click it. You can also drag Moneydance to your dock where it can be launched with a single-click. You may need to remove the old Moneydance 2012 icon from your dock after this. After doing this, you can launch Moneydance and view the console log by going to Help -> Console window in Moneydance to verify that you're using the latest version (2012.5 (862)).

Actually I got it to work. I quit everything, shut down the computer, then logged out and in of dropbox both on the computer and the phone and disabled and enable it in Moneydance. One of those steps fixed it!
Thanks.
