Viewing portfolio on iPhone

Downloaded the iPhone app and synced without a problem. Now what to do with it? I don't manually enter any transaction as that is all done via file download and import from the bank. I'm always a bit behind on that too, so the balances in Moneydance aren't really meaningful (not that I'm suggesting that is Moneydance's fault).

What I would really like to be able to do on the run is watch my share portfolio, but at the moment the app doesn't seem to sync Investment accounts. I'm wondering if there are plans for this in the future. Otherwise there isn't much point having the app from my point of view.

You are correct in that the current version of the iPhone app does not sync investment accounts. This is something we pan to add in a future version.

The purpose of the current iPhone app is to allow you to enter transaction as you make purchases. This way you can have a very up to date value for the amount of money you have in your bank accounts. If you don't manually enter transactions they the current incarnation of the iPhone app is not something you will find useful.

    Sincerely
