    Hi

    When you select Extensions->Configure Network Syncing... Are you able to add the device in the network sync extension by clicking the "add device" button? If not here is a list of trouble shooting suggestions.

    The iPhone app should sync with the desktop app when the iPhone app is started if it finds the desktop app runing on the network. There have been some cases where the iPhone needs to be restarted before a sync will occur. The only reason I can think for this is if a necessary iPhone OS service has crashed. please try restarting your iPhone and let me know if that resolves the problem.

    I hadn't entered the code correctly - I had put in spaces. It now works fine, however it doesn't show my portfolio . . from your Frequent qts I found that you are working on synching the investment account with the iPhone & iPad. I have an iPad, but no iPhone at this time.

    thank you for your prompt reply, - J&J

    Please try the following:

    Run Moneydance on your desktop.

    Select Help->Console Window.

    Verify that your iPhone is connected to the local wifi network.

    Start the iPhone Moneydance app.

    Verify that the device is present under Extensions->Network Syncing...

    Copy and paste the contents of the console window to this discussion.

    Hi all

    Just thought I would add something in case it helps anyone

    On iphone 4 I could not get it sync and found that due to multitasking (now present on any ios4 device) closure of the moneydance app does not actually close it. Doubt tap your home button, press and hold the moneydance icon onthe list that shows up and then close it. Make sure moenydance desktop is running and then restart moneydance app - syncs everytime now

    Hope it helps

    One suggestion is to have a manual/force sync option too!

    Yes, we're certainly discussing implementing a force sync option in future updates. Thank you all for your input.
