Hi Dawn,
Could you try taking the following steps to reset your syncing?
1) Close the Moneydance app on your phone.
2) Start Moneydance on your computer.
3) Disable Dropbox syncing from the File -> Syncing menu.
4) Re-enable Dropbox syncing (and authorize Moneydance to connect to your Dropbox folder, if necessary).
4) Restart Moneydance on your computer.
5) Start the Moneydance mobile app and see if you're able to sync then?
If you're still unable to sync after that, can you send the output of your console log? This can be found by going to Help -> Console window in Moneydance, then clicking the "Copy to clipboard" button and pasting the output to us here.
Thanks!

Can you try disabling Dropbox syncing to see if that fixes this? First, go to File -> Syncing in Moneydance and disable syncing. Then, close Moneydance and, using the Dropbox app or website interface, delete the:
.moneydancesync
folder in your Dropbox folder. Next, re-open Moneydance and re-enable Dropbox syncing. Finally, disconnect from Dropbox syncing on your mobile device and re-connect.

Hi Dawn,
Can you verify, using these instructions:
https://www.dropbox.com/help/89/en
if your Dropbox folder is located at:
/Users/(yourusername)/Dropbox
If it is located there, can you try changing it to a different location on your computer (to within your Documents folder, for example), then try disabling and re-enabling Dropbox syncing again via File -> Syncing in Moneydance? You should be asked to give Moneydance permissions to access your Dropbox folder and the File -> Syncing window should say "Connected as: (Your Name)", rather than the location of the folder on your computer.
If it isn't located there, then can you check to see if you have a folder named Dropbox in your Home folder? On Mac OS X that'll be:
/Users/(yourusername)/Dropbox
and on Windows Vista and above it'll be:
C:\Users\(yourusername)\Dropbox
If that's not your Dropbox folder, can you either rename it or delete it (if it doesn't contain any of your data), then try disabling and re-enabling Dropbox syncing as I described above and see if that works for you?
