Balance again wrong in last Iphone App and IOS4

Hello,

I own a 3GS Iphone (no jailbreak) with IOS4 update and the last Moneydance App (some days ago).

I never experienced the balance account problems but yesterday I deleted an entry and was surprised to see that the balance wasn't calculated again.

I tried to reboot my Iphone, kill the Moneydance App from memory, but nothing worked.

I'm on holidays, far from my Imac, so I can't delete the app and install it again. I'm disappointed because it's the cash account and I need an accurate balance to check if I have enough in my wallet.

I hope you'll be able to fix this problem quickly because it's a very annoying one, almost for a financial app !

    I have just had a similar problem.

    I entered the wrong amount for a transaction. I went back and edited the amount but it did not update teh balance. When I changed screens, the balance had not been updated.

    I plan to do a reinstall this evening to address a different problem. Will see what happens!

    Yes, it worked.

    I had deleted the incorrect transaction and the balance, by then, was wrong. After syncing it was correct.

    So it worked !

    Unfortunately I won't be able to sync until 15th, so I hope the developers will eliminate this bug definetly in the next version.

    Even on my IPhone It works when you click on the document attached ... And you'll see the screen captures showing the problem !

    Hi all,

    Sorry for the long silence, we know this is an issue for our users. Our developer Sean is actively working on the fix and will be releasing it "soon" (that's the best timeline I have), but says that syncing will fix the issue in the meantime. This issue won't cause any data corruption though... it is just a balance display issue.

    I've attached the bug ticket to this case, so we'll post on this thread when the fix is available for testing.

    Thanks for your message, we'll wait for the fix and, meanwhile, use syncing to set up the problem (but difficult to use when travelling abroad).

    BTW, of course I'm still experiencing the problem, but I couldn't answer in the other thread because it was closed.

    Hoping the update'll be coming soon...

    Do you work also on the other problem I wrote about ?

    I mean that when trying to recall a name from the "description" screen (when tapping on the description button on the main screen), you've got a blank screen and you can't do anything else...

    It's very bothering and I don't believe a syncing'll fix the issue ?

    Hi all,

    We recently released version 1.4 of the iPhone app, and believe that it corrects this issue. Would you please try updating your app and let me know if that fixes these problems? Please let me know if/what problems still occur after the update.
