Syncing problems through Drop Box

I have created a File in Money dance entering a fair amount of date. I have saved the file to Dropbox and now trying to open that file on another computer (also with Money dance) by downloading the file from Dropbox. However, the receiving computer seems unable to download and open the Drop box file. I expect I am doing something wrong - could you please advise.
