Two Syncs Required
Greetings, I have to sync my desktop MD 2017 twice before the changes will show up on any of my three iDevices.
Step 1> Open desktop MD, make some changes, exit, wait for DropBox to idle and MD to disappear from Task Manager.
Step 2> Check MD on my iDevices, they appear to have completed a sync, but the changes are not in the register.
Step 3> Open desktop MD, exit, wait for DropBox to idle and MD to disappear from Task Manager.
Step 4> Check MD on my iDevices, they sync and the changes appear.
What should I be doing differently?

Hi
I'm not support staff, just a user, but I wanted to let you know that I'm having to do the exact same thing. I thought it was me that wasn't understanding the sync process, but I have to open/close MoneyDance on the desktop twice in succession before any changes appear on my iPhone. There seems to be a number of sync questions being raised by users, but very few are getting responses from support. I submitted a question regarding this about a week ago and haven't heard back yet.

IK has acknowledged this as a "bug" in Moneydance 2017. There is a "Ticket" for it to be fixed.

It took me awhile to even notice it, as I'm on my Desktop version much more often than my mobile device.

Thanks for the link - that explains things. Glad to know IK are working on a fix. I was starting to look for an alternative application but will wait a bit longer.

You're welcome. I would guess that it's probably one of the reasons that Support has been spotty lately. I could be wrong, but I believe that some of the Support Staff are actually programmers.
