Network Synchronizer Extension
Hello there,
Before I purchase the software, as it is quite expensive, I'm trying to get the iPhone sync to work and see what that is like to use however am not able to find the "Network Synchronizer Extension" in the extension manager to connect up.
I don't also understand how to connect using DropBox to sync.
Many thanks,

I've noticed the same problem - that extension has always been there, but since updating to 2017 I see it is gone from the list of extensions. I just created a new account and don't know how to get it to sync with my iOS devices.
To connect using Dropbox, go to File/Sync - choose Dropbox connection, choose a password then say ok. Your files should start syncing to Dropbox. Now we just need them to sync to iOS!

Hi,
The Network Synchronizer Extension is no longer needed, nor available in MD 2017. The Data Sharing/Synchronization procedure is outlined in the attached article:

Please give me the steps. I chose Dropbox connection on the desktop, but still only see one account on iOS and every 3 minutes I get notified I changed something in Moneydance text in Dropbox.
Getting very frustrated. Don’t know why they eliminated network synchronizer extension.

I can provide some insight as to why the extension was removed.
The network extension was removed as it was found there were too many network configurations that stopped it working. Configurations that it was not realistic for Moneydance support to address them, or indeed deliberated configured that way for security or other reasons.

But how do I now make it work?

I followed the instructions here: http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/moneydance-2017/sharing-data-using-the-moneydance-2017-syncing-engine.
Go to File -> Syncing. Select either Dropbox Connection (do this if your Dropbox account isn't installed on your computer) or Dropbox Folder (do this if your Dropbox account is installed on your computer).
Then, either link up your Dropbox account to Moneydance or locate the Dropbox folder on your computer. At some stage, you'll be asked to create a password. Create one and close the dialog box. Go to your phone, download the Moneydance application, touch where it says "Dropbox" (the actual logo - I got stuck on this bit) then login to your Dropbox account on your phone whilst in the app, enter the password when prompted and then you're in.
I hope this helps.

I found out my problem. I've been using Moneydance since 2011 and syncing with Dropbox. I recently set up a whole different database account and was trying to sync that as well. I just found out you can only sync one account.
