Syncing via dropbox
I have moneydance on my iMac and I also sync it with my iPhone. However I recently purchased a windows laptop and want to use it and sync to that laptop. However I cannot seem to get it to sync via dropbox. Is it possible to sync between Mac and windows and if so how can I set this up?

Hi Randle,
You should be able to achieve syncing between all the devices mentioned in Moneydance 2017. You can read how to sync you data between devices in this article. Can you let me know at what point you encounter difficulties.
If you have followed the steps but still unable between all devices I would suggest reseting your sync settings and setting up the connection fresh to see if this resolves the behaviour.
First, go to File --> Syncing in Moneydance and disable Dropbox syncing. Then, close Moneydance and, using the Dropbox app or website interface, delete the:
.moneydancesync
folder in your Dropbox folder. Next, re-open Moneydance and re-enable Dropbox syncing. For syncing with a mobile device, you'll need to select either Dropbox Folder or Dropbox Connection as the sync method. Finally, disconnect from Dropbox syncing on your mobile device and re-connect.
