Syncing transactions show up in USD in PHP account
I just started trying to use the iPhone app and it appears to work good for the Wifi sync. My problem is that most of my expenses are entered in PHP currency into a Cash PHP Account. On the iPhone it all looks perfect with a P marking the currency for the entry and the proper running balance in the account. However, when the transactions come into my laptop in MD they show as USD amounts listed in the register. So when I run a report the figures are wrong in total USD amount. I can manually edit each transaction and add an exchange rate where it shows a 1, but that does not seem to be the way it should work.
Please help me understand if there is something I am doing wrong or is this just a current bug in MD and the iPhone app.

Ezane,
The iPhone app does not currently properly support multi-currency use. There is, however, a good work-around described in post 9 of this case. It is likely similar to what you are doing, but may be a bit simpler. I have created a ticket for this issue. The ticket is attached to this discussion. By posting in this discussion your interest in the ticket has been registered. This is equivalent to voting for it.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

Angie, Thanks. The proposed work around of "overtyping the category" and resaving the transaction works. Please post me when this issue is really resolved. I would love to avoid a work around.
