Programmatic backup part 2

Hi -
How can I find out the data directory from a plugin? In other words, the directory that was used for File menu -> Open -> Open Other..
I'd like to make a backup without showing the backup gui

   That would be in com.moneydance.apps.md.controller.io.AccountBookUtil.DEFAULT_FOLDER_CONTAINER

   Although is there something that you would like to do that the relatively new built-in backup function in MD2015 doesn't?

   The built in backup only seems to run when I start MoneyDance. I tend to leave it running for weeks at a time and no backups gets made.

   Is there a way I can trigger the automatic backup to take place?

   You can manually trigger a backup by selecting File->Export Backup...
