Confusion about split transaction amount vs value vs parentAmount vs parentValue
I am thoroughly confused about the differences between:
SplitTxn.getAmount()
SplitTxn.getValue()
SplitTxn.getParentAmount()
SplitTxn.getParentValue()
For one, the getParentAmount() and getParentValue() seem to be exactly identical. They return the same value and have the same description in the docs. But getAmount() and getValue() return different things. Why?
Also, why is the description for getAmount() and getParentAmount() the same in the docs?
Most importantly, why when I view the details of a split transaction, does the <SPLITAMT> value different from the getAmount() number I get back?
