Quotes & Exchange Rates
After the previous data suppliers withdrew their services I purchased an updated version of Moneydance in order to use data from Alphavantage. This works fine for most many of my investments but for Investment Trusts and Venture Capital Trusts the prices frequently change from GB pence to pounds and back again. This makes a nonsense of all my reports.
This issue has been known about for many months, and for many months there has been a work-round using a standalone program Hleofxquotes. I understand that this uses stable data sources which eliminate the problem but the process of using it looks more than a little complex and intimidating for an ordinary user. It does, however, demonstrate that a solution is technically possible.
We have waited patiently for a very long time already: when can we expect an extension within Moneydance itself which will work properly?

I should add that I am currently using MD 2017.7.1 (1671). The Moneydance Updater extension offers nothing newer.

Have a similar problem, wonder why its taking so long to fix, if they are even looking at it
