Android app - open MD from another app with an Intent?

This question isn't about extensions, it is about the MoneyDance android app. Android uses Intents to allow for one app to open another. In this case, I would like my app to be able to open the MoneyDance android app if it is installed on the device. Does the MoneyDance app support Intents? I am able to pass Extras to initiate entering a new transaction?
