Clicking on Category List should load that category into the open transaction
To avoid having to scroll or guess a category, it would be nice to be able to click on the appropriate category while the category list is displayed in a second window.
Thanks !

Hi George
In a sense the category drop down selector is a second window. Would this issue be resolved if we simply made the category selector significantly taller to reduce the need to scroll?

Hi Ben,
Thanks for the VERY quick response.
BTW, I LOVE Moneydance and salute you for creating and expanding an
excellent product. I hope you are proud !
I have a 21" imac and consequently can have two large windows open.
This enables me to have a register open on the left and the category
list open on my right. To avoid having to scroll through the entire
list of categories from within the transaction (ie while entering or
editing the transaction in the register window), it would be much
faster if I simply could go to the category list on my right and point
and click on the transaction that I want. By having the category list
open from top to bottom of the screen, I can see half of my categories
at one time. Such a programatic tweek would save lots of scrolling
time.
I am not complaining mind you. I love your program ... just a
suggestion as to how the best could be even better.
Thanks !
