I seem unable to find an explanation of the process. I am able to add a Java extension, but what about python?

Is there a walkthrough of adding the script in https://infinitekind.com/dev/python_template.py to Moneydance (2019)? A pointer would be very helpful.

Thanks for any help.

(In some articles there is mention of a menu entry Windows/Scripting, but that entry is not present in my Moneydance installation.)

jeroen.bruijningtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/479454502019-12-26T17:07:54Z2019-12-26T17:07:54ZHow to add a python extension in Moneydance 2019

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Jeroen

I am no python developer but it’s my understanding that scripts can be imported and run under WINDOW – SHOW MONEYBOT CONSOLE.

Hope this helps.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/479454502019-12-26T20:40:45Z2019-12-26T20:40:45ZHow to add a python extension in Moneydance 2019

Wow.

Completely missed that one. I guess I was scanning for "python".

At first try, it seems to work. Many thanks.

jeroen.bruijning
