I would like to be able to use this facility. However, whenever I highlight the Security for which I want to enter a new price a yellow line appears and it is quite impossible to enter anything.
Is this a known fault ?

Thank you for contacting us.
Would it be possible for you to remove the "Security Price Entry" Extension, you can do this in the 'Manage Extensions' menu?
Once removed, restart Moneydance and install the extension again, to retry the 'New Price' entry.
If this does not work, then please let me know your version of Moneydance and of the extension.
The latest of Moneydance is 2019.3 (1880) and of the extension is 103.
Please let us know if it helped.

I have tried that but still encounter the same problem.

I am not support staff, just a user.
Just a thought. Is it possible you need to expand the window?
You should be able to enter new prices in the column headed New Prices, see screen shot example 40.00 entered for first security.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your interest. Yes, I have tried that but the yellow line still stretches across all 3 columns, including "New Price". It is quite impossible to enter any new data in "New Price"

Sounds like this issue needs to go back to Support.
But first Remove the Security Price Entry Extension under EXTENSIONS – MANAGE EXTENSIONS then re-install it.
I tested on Windows 10 and Linux Mint 19.3 knowing your operating system may help support.

I'm fellow user.
While I get the highlight going all the way across the line if I click on the new price field I can then enter a price.
