Getting my file to and external hard drive and accessing it.
Before moving up to Linux Mint I was using Suse Linux. At one point I had my file on an external hard drive. At some point it got moved to the main drive. Since moving to Linux Mint I have been trying to get the file to the external hard drive. Recently I lost the file on the external and had to drag up an older file and finding lost data from my accounts. Now that I have, somewhat, re-established my accounts I am trying to get them on my external and getting rid of out dated files. What must I do to get it on and read from the external first of all. Thanks.

Hello,
We have detailed instructions on moving your data file to a different location at: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/file-locations-and-changes/mo...
It sounds like you understand this process, so maybe if you could explain in more detail how it's not working for you, that would be helpful.
