Downloading exchange rates and stock priced
Until recently this has worked however??? Downloads some exchange rates but no securities. When I look at the extension page all the tick boxes are black and non responsive. I am using your latest 2019.1 (1855).
Would greatly receive your assistance.

I'm a fellow user.
For information the latest stable release is 2019.3 (1880) and the latest preview release 2019.4 (1904)
As to your problem what extension are you using to update the prices and which source for the prices have you selected?

Hi
In have been in contact with IK. There was apparently something wrong with my acct however they have sorted it out and I was able to download the latest 2019.3 (1880). Everything appears to be working however one of my securities does not show the number of shares, only cash. Your assistance in advice as to how I can fix this would be greatly appreciated. I am using Alphadvantage. many thanks. ed

If a investment only shows cash it sounds like there has not been any buy transactions posted.

This security has been in Moneydance for over 10 years and it is only in the last week that it has turned into cash and not shares.

If an account had shares in it and no cash then changes to have cash and no shares it suggests that either a buy transaction has been deleted or that a sell transaction has been added.

I have solved the issue. Deleted everything and started again though lost over 10 years data. Thanks for your assistance
