Extension signing

Question on getting extensions signed... I realise that I have to contact MD to do this. Does each extension from the same developer need to be signed separately, or does one signing do all that developer’s extns? Also, if that developer releases v1 of an extension, gets it signed and then releases v2, do they have to apply for a new signing? Thx
