quotes downloader

Hi
I just changed my lap top and after downloading the quotes loader from Md extension sthe last row which shows the save parameters get exchange rate does not appear . I am usingMd 2020(2006). Pls let me know how to resolve this as i am not able to update save the parameters.

   Can you increase the size of the Quote Loader window by dragging the
   bottom or top margin?

   It worked. Tks for ur help. I have mutual funds in India and have used the
   yahoo page for the mutual fund symbol. But the prices do not get up dated.
   Can I use the nsi stock exchange code for the mutual funds . I apologise if
   I am out of line in asking this question to you directly.

   Hi Shamsu

   You can use whatever the code is on yahoo.com or ft.com.  Go to the web
   page of either and search using the name of the security.  Once you have
   found it you will see the ticker code to use.

   the code is M&M script name is Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd and INF247L01AEY
   Motilal Oswal Nifty 50 index fund direct growth. Awaiting ur test result

   Two questions I should have asked.
   What is your base currency.
   What is the latest price you have for the two securities so I can check i have found the right ones.

   For Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Ltd ticker M&MFIN:NSI I found a price of 169.15 INR However there is a problem, I think Quote Loader can’t handle the & in the ticker symbol, reported to developer, hopefully a fix in the future.

   For Motilal Oswal M50 ETF I have found it appears to be traded on two different Indian stock exchanges, see screen shot. Hopefully one is for your security.

   My base currency is Indian Rupees. The m&m rate is correct. However the
   motilal oswal the rate u showed is etf rates. The scrip is a mutual fund
   and the rate is 10.6876. hope this information will help u .'

    I have developed a fix and will submit to TIK today for signing.  It
    will be available under the list of available extensions and the build
    number will be 3027.  It is up to TIK when this will be done.

    Hopefully this should fix the issue you were having with Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Ltd see screen shot.
