<p>This is certainly an interesting feature, and one that I can see being helpful to some of our users (myself included). I have created a ticket for this issue. <p>and one of the few features i really miss is a lock entry /
account</p>

he is unhappy that the administrator can change past records.<br>
The accountant is requesting a shift to sage. which has this
feature "Lock Date - Is another handy tool that prevents us from
making those frustrating mistakes. By locking your accounts, it
prevents you from posting payments before a certain date, and if
you try to do so, a warning sign will appear to let you know you
are doing something wrong.<br>

I like MD and think sage would be too much and too complex for our
small charity.<br>
