<p>There are also Open banking initiatives in the US, Asia and Australia, major banks in Australia are supposed to start providing the ability in July 2019 in a phased introduction. There are no details yet and it is certainly not clear whether all these initiatives will piggy back on each other and use common APIs or if they will all go in their own directions.</p>
<p>It could replace the OFX/QFX standard, but hopefully implemented on a world wide basis, and ideally also replace the proprietary Quicken Web Connect system.</p></div>dwg
